Through our library we aim to continually encourage academic excellence by providing support to the school community with a rich learning environment, to collaborate in designing learning opportunities and to provide a welcoming atmosphere. The library been fully refurbished during the past two years and is now an inviting place to study and learn as well as a tranquil place to read and relax. There are two class spaces, a presentation area, a seminar room, a lounge area, a senior study room, a DVD collection and viewing space, and a welcoming garden atrium in which to read and unwind. Students can borrow both fiction and non-fiction books, and DVDs are available for senior student loans.
There are 20 desktop computers dedicated for use within the library and accessible to the SGGHS network and printer wirelessly.
The Virtual Library, available on the school’s Intranet contains journal articles, podcasts, DVD listings and links to articles relating to the DVDs.
